Benjamin

Benjamin, as mentioned in the Bible, was a Hebrew patriarch, Jacob's youngest son by Rachel (Gen. 35:18, 42, etc). He was the head of one of the twelve tribes, who were settled in a small fertile territory between Ephraim and Judah; the tribe to which St. Paul belonged.

There is also a tribe of Israel, traditionally descended from Benjamin. It is the smallest tribe of the country.
