Bermuda

Bermuda is an island and a British overseas territory in the Northern America region in the North Atlantic Ocean, situated at about 650 miles (1,046 km) east of the coast of North Carolina, a state in the United States. It has now internal self-government, but officially is a British dependency. Hamilton is its capital city which is in the Bermuda island. Its surface area is 53 sq km. Dollar is its currency. It is also called the Bermudas because it is made up of about 150 small islands. It is named after the Spanish sailor Juan Bermúdez who sighted the islands in 1503.
