Berosus

Berosus (f. c. 290 BC), also Berossus, was a priest of the temple of Belus in Babylon. He translated into Greek certain records of Babylonish history, valuable fragments of which are preserved by Josephus and Eusebius. These have been collected and published by W. Richter, in Germany.
