Biogas

Biogas is a fuel gas, especially methane, produced by fermentation of organic matters, such as cow-dung, human waste or any kind of biological matter. This form of renewable energy is a clean and efficient fuel and is obtained through anaerobic fermentation process, ie a fermentation in absence of oxygen. It consists of 60% methane and the rest is chiefly carbon-di-oxide. This gas is primarily used in household kitchens and lighting.
