Bird flu
Bird flu, also called avian influenza, is a disease. It is caused by a virus transmissible to humans from birds, especially poultry. The virus causes a sever flu which is often fatal. It can also be passed from person to person. Symptoms begin within two to eight days of infection and can seem like the common flu, such as cough, fever, sore throat, muscle aches, headache, and shortness of breath.
