Bird wave

Bird wave is an informal term for a mixed flock of birds of various species, also called mixed hunting party, that move together while foraging and feed usually on insects. It must be noted that bird wave is a phenomenon of joining together of several species of birds and all fly together, which is different from coming together of several species of birds from all directions for food in a particular area.
