Black-eyed Susan

Black-eyed Susan is the name given to any of a number of plants bearing flowers with yellowish petals and a dark centre. One of the most common is the daisylike North American plant that grows bristly leaves and stems. Rudbeckia hirt is its botanical name, and it belongs to the family Compositae. Another is a popular indoor or greenhouse plant, a slender tropical climber. Thunbergia alata is its botanical name, and it belongs to the family Acanthaceae.
