Blockbusting is the activity of persuading people to sale their landed property by creating a fear among them that some unwanted people, or people from another community, will be coming to their area to settle down making their living difficult. Then the persuaders purchase the properties at very cheap prices only to sale them later at higher prices, and thus make huge profit.
