Blockchain

Blockchain is a digital ledger recording transactions made in cryptocurrency chronologically and publicly, ie every time a new transaction occurs on the blockchain, a record of that transaction is added to every participant's ledger.

Blockchain is a specific type of digital database which stores information in blocks and then chained together. When the new block is filled with data it is chained onto the previously filled block. Data entered is irreversible.
