Bobwhite

Bobwhite, also bobwhite quail, is a quail of the New World. Its plumage is reddish-brown and mottled, has eyestripe, and pale throat. It belongs to the genus Colinus, and the Phasianidae family. "Northern bobwhite" (Colinus virginianus) is better known among its two species.
