Bohr theory

Bohr theory, named after Danish physicist Niels Bohr, is a term in physics for a scientific theory of the structure of atoms. It says that electrons revolve in discrete orbits around a positively charged nucleus and radiation is given off or absorbed only when an electron moves from one orbit to another.
