Champa

Champa was the capital city of Ang in ancient India. The city found mention is several Indian mythological texts including the Ramayana and the Mahabharata. Rompad was ruling from here during the Ramayana period when he was king of Ang. During the Mahabharata, it became the seat of Karn who was made king of Ang by his friend Duryodhan.
