Chirjivi

Chirjivi, in Hindu mythology, is an epithet of seven men - Ashvatthama, Bali, Vyas, Hanuman, Vibhishan, Kripacharya, and Parashuram. All are called so because of their being immortal. Ashvatthama was a warrior in the Mahabharata, Bali was a king of the world who gave his kingdom of the Earth, the sky above, and the world beneath to Vaman in three steps, Vyas was a sage, Hanuman was the monkey-god who served Ram, Vibhishan was the brother of Ravan, Kripacharya was the preceptor of Daityas who found mention in the Mahabharata, and Parashuram the son of Jamadagni was a Brahmin sage.
