Clitus
Clitus (c. 375 BC - 328 BC), also spelled Cleitus, named Clitus the Black only to distinguish him from the Clitus the White, was a general of Alexander, and his friend, who saved his life at the battle of Granicus 334 BC, but whom, at a banquet, he killed when heated with wine, to his inconsolable grief ever afterwards.Nearby pages
