Crinan Canal
Crinan Canal is a canal in Scotland for vessels of light burden, 9 miles long, from Loch Fyne, in Argyllshire, constructed to avoid sailing round the Mull of Kintyre, thereby saving a distance of 115 miles. Construction of this canal commenced in 1773 and completed in 1801.Nearby pages
