Cromarty
Cromarty is a town in the United Kingdom. It is a civil paris and a former royal burgh. The county, situated in the north of Scotland, consisted of ten fragments scattered up and down Ross-shire. The county town, the birthplace of Hugh Miller, being on the North side of Cromarty Firth, which opens eastward into the Moray Firth, and forms a large harbour 1 mile long and 7 broad, protected at the mouth by two beetling rocks called Sutors, one on each side, 400 and 463 ft. high.Nearby pages
