Daud Nagar Fort

Daud Nagar Fort is in Aurangabad district of Bihar in India. It is situated at about 30 km from Aurangabad town on the banks of Sone. Daud Nagar town headquarters the subdivision of the same name. The fort here is known as Daud Nagar Fort.

There was one Daud Khan in 17th century who was governor of Bihar during the reign of Aurangzeb. He not only established the town but got this fort built which served as Sarai until 1896. Daud Khan while returning after defeating the Chero king of Palamau camped here.

The fort is now a protected monument under archaeological department of the state.
