Djuna Barnes
Djuna Barnes ( 1892 – 1982) was a US writer, novelist, poet, illustrator, and dramatist. She was critically acclaimed, although not widely read. She began as magazine illustrator and reporter, and later switched to short stories and one-act plays, many of which she illustrated.
