Dr. Gaya Prasad Katiyar was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. Born 1901 , Jagadishpur, s/o late Manjiram Kyer joined H.R.A. in 1925. Arrested at Saharanpur in 1929 in connection with Lahore Conspiracy Case. Joined the hunger strike at Lahore jail.remained underground for about two years. Sentenced to transportation for life. Deported to the Andamans. Took part in the first and second hunger strike. Repatriated in 1937. Released bur again arrested and kept confined in jail till 1946. Total jail period 17 years.
