Dumrama

Dumrama is a village in Banka district of Bihar in India. It is located at about 3 km from the block Headquarter Amarpur, on the road to Bhagalpur.

It is famous for the remains of Stupas which indicate the existence of Budhist Monasteries here in the remote past.

According to a local tradition, the village was once the seat of Khaetauri chiefs, the last of whom was king Debai who had built a fort in the village which is surrounded by moats.
