East Siang District

East Siang is a district in the State of Arunachal Pradesh in India. It is located approximately between 27° 43' - 29° 20' North latitudes and 94° 42' - 95° 35' East latitudes. Pasighat town is the headquarter of this district.

The District derives its name from the the river Siang. It is a wild mountainous area and presents a remarkable topographical variety. It is spread over an area of 4005 sq km. Population of the district was 99,214 as per census 2011.
