Enstatite

Enstatite is a mineral found in various colours. This translucent and crystalline mineral is found in igneous rocks and stony meteorites.

It is the magnesium endmember of the pyroxene silicate mineral series. It consists of magnesium silicate.

Enstatite is found in white, gray, greenish, or brown in colours. Its hardness is 5–6 on the Mohs scale, and its specific gravity is 3.2–3.3.
