First Point of Aries

First Point of Aries, also called vernal equinox, is a term in astronomy for the point on the celestial sphere where the path of the sun crosses the celestial equator from south to north in the month of March, marking the zero point of right ascension. The point has now moved from Aries into Pisces and approaching Aquarius due to precession of the equinoxes.
