Fornarina

Fornarina was a Roman lady of great beauty, a friend of Raphael's (1483 – 1520), and who frequently posed as a model to him. Very little is known about La Fornarina. However, Art-history tradition or legend identifies her as ("baker's daughter") Margherita Luti, though this identification has been questioned.
