Fotheringay

Fotheringay, also spelled Fotheringhay, is a village in Northamptonshire, a ceremonial county in England, on the Nen, 9 miles South-West of Peterborough. The ruined castle there was the scene of the execution of Mary, Queen of Scots, in 1587.
