Hazaribagh Wild Life Sanctuary is in Jharkhand state of India. It is situated at about 93 kms from Ranchi. It is a reputed and ever popular health resort in the hills. 2019 feet above sea level, excellent climate, scenic beauty, dense forest areas and rich flora and fauna. 'Sal' is the dominant tree species. Wild bear, sambhar, nilghai, chital and kakar atr populous. Sloth bears, tiger and panthers also prowl. The ten observation towers in the sanctuary makes it all the more easier to have a closer encounter with wild life.
