Johann George Adam Forster

Johann George Adam Forster (1754-1794) was a German naturalist, son of Johann Reinhold Forster. He accompanied his father in the voyage with Cook, and contributed to the literature anent the expedition. Subsequently, he became professor of Natural History at Cassel and at Wilna, and eventually librarian to the Elector of Mayence in 1788. His works are published in 9 volumes.
