Jules Adolphe Bréton

Jules Adolphe Bréton (1827-1906), full name Jules Adolphe Aimé Louis Bréton, was a French genre and landscape painter, born at Courrières, in Pas-de-Calais. Paintings of this naturalist painter were heavily influenced by the idyllic beauty of the French countryside and the rural life.
