Juttiga and Natta Rameswaram

Juttiga and Natta are twin villages in the West Godavari district of Aandhra Pradesh in India. The have assumed such a great religious importance that they are jointly called Juttiga and Natta Rameswaram, or Dakshin Kasi.

The religious importance is on account of the temples of Swayambhulingam known as Sri Uma Vasuki Ravi Someswara Swamy at Juttiga Village and the lingam which is made of shells and cones named as Natta Ramalingeswara Swamy at Natta Rameswaram Village.

Sivaratri is celebrated on the border of the two villages.
