Kareng Ghar

Kareng Ghar is a seven storeyed historical building in Sivasagar district of Assam in India. It is situated at about four kilometres south o Sivasagar town. It served as a military station and palace of Ahom kings.

The construction of this palace was started by the Ahom king Rudra Singha in 1700. Several alterations were later made by his successors.
