Kedar Mani Shukla

Kedar Mani Shukla was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. He was born in 1907, at Bhitaha, West Champaran, Bihar. He was son of Bharat Shukla. He joined Anusheelan Party at the age of 17 and later Hindustan Socialist Republican Association (HSRA). He was arrested in 1930 and sentenced to 10 years R.I. He was married before arrest and had a son. He was deported to the Cellular Jail Andamans. There, he participated in both Hunger Strike. He was repatriated in 1937. He was reaarrested in 1940 and kept in detention in 1945. His total jail period was 14 years.
