Kempen

Kempen is a German town in the district of Viersen, in North Rhine-Westphalia, 27 miles North-West of Düsseldorf. It manufactures textile fabrics in silk, cotton, linen, &c. It is famous for being the birthplace of Thomas à Kempis (c. 1380 – 1471).
