Kendrapara
Kendrapara is a district in the State of Orissa in India. The district lies between 20º 20’ N to 20º 37’ N Latitude and 86º 14’ E to 87º 01’ E Longitude. It is bounded in the south by Jagatsingpur district, in the east by Cuttack district, in the north by Bhadrak district. The district is in the southwest of the Jajpur District and Bay of Bengal lies in the eastern part of the district. The coastline covers 48 km stretching from Dhamra Muhan to Batighar.The district derives its name from its headquarter town of the same name.
Kendrapara had a population of 13,01,856 as per census 2001. In has an area of 2644 sq km.
