Kiron Chandra Dey

Kiron Chandra Dey was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. He was born in 1908 in Dacca, now in Bangladesh. He was son of Nabadwip Chandra Dey. Kiron was arrested in connection with Hilli Station Raid Action and sentenced to a prison term of life. On appeal, his sentence was commuted by the high court to a prison term of 5 years. He was deported to the Andamans. Later he took part in second hunger strike, repatriated in January 1938, and released by the end of 1939. His total jail period was more than five years.
