Ladakh

Ladakh is a Union Territory of India which came into being from October 31, 2019. It was carved out by an act of parliament passed in August 2019 after abrogation of Article 370 and splitting the state into two Union Territories named Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. Ladakh has an area of 59,146 sq km. Leh is its capital city.

There are two districts in the state.
Kargil District and Leh District

There is only one Lok Sabha Constituency. When it was part of the state Jammu and Kashmir, the Ladakh Lok Sabha Constituency - Ladakh district in 1976 - Vidhan Sabha Constituencies had the following Vidhan Sabha Constituencies

47 Nobra Vidhan Sabha Constituency, 48 Leh Vidhan Sabha Constituency, 49 Kargil Vidhan Sabha Constituency, 50 Zanskar Vidhan Sabha Constituency
