Lenny Bruce

Lenny Bruce (1925 - 1966), real name Leonard Alfred Schneider, was a US stand-up comedian, social critic, satirist, and actor. He was renowned for his open, free-wheeling, and critical style of comedy which contained satire, politics, religion, sex, and of course - vulgarity. He was convicted in an obscenity trial in 1964, but was pardoned posthumously in 2003.
