Leonard Bernstein

Leonard Bernstein (1918 — 1990) was a US composer, conductor and pianist. He worked as a conductor with the New York Philharmonic Orchestra during 1945 — 1948 and 1957 — 1969. He gave music for the movie 'On the Waterfront' (1954). His symphony 'The Age of Anxiety' (1947 — 49) and the musical 'West Side Story' (1957) are among his other notable works.
