Lok Sabha General Election 2024
Lok Sabha General Election 2024 was announced by the Election Commission of India on March 16, 2024 to elect 543 members of the 18th Lok Sabha. Elections were held from 19 April 2024 to 1 June 2024 in 7 phases spanning 44 days. It was the longest general elections since the polls of 1951-52 that lasted more than four months. The tenure of the 17th Lok Sabha was scheduled to end on 16 June 2024. Polling in Outer Manipur seat was scheduled in two phases.Election Schedule
