Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Election 2023

Madhya Pradesh Vidhan Sabha Election 2023 was announced by the Election Commission of India on October 9, 2023. The term of the Vidhan Sabha will be expired on 06.01.2024. Election will be held to all the 230 Vidhan Sabha seats in one Phase. The Commission conducted the Special Summary Revision of Electoral Roll with reference to 01.10.2023 as the qualifying date, and final publication of electoral rolls was done on 04.10.2023. There were 5,61,36,229 electors out of which 5,60,60,925 were general electors and 75,304 were service voters. Number of enrolments of young electors who attained the age of 18 years between 1 st January, 2023 and 1 st Oct 2023 were 11,29,513. Total PwD electors were 5,05,146, Third Gender 1373 and 80+ Senior Citizens 6,53,640. Number of Polling Stations in 2023 shall be 64,523 as against 65,367 in 2018.
