Moshe Dayan

Moshe Dayan (1915-1981) was an Israeli military and political leader who founded Haganah underground militia. He served in British Army in World War II. Moshe held a variety of government posts including member of the Knesset, minister of agriculture, minister of defence, and foreign minister. He resigned in protest of Begin administration's stance regarding negotiations for Palestinian autonomy in Israeli-occupied West Bank and Gaza Strip.
