Nitya Ranjan Choudhury was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. Born 1906, Balurghat, West Dinajpur, West Bengal. S/o late Lalit Mohan Choudhury. Matriculated. Belonged to Yugantar Party. Arrested on 4th August 1934 in connection with an action ( Tilon Action - W. Dinajpur). Sentenced to Ten years prison term. Deported to the Andamans. Took part in the second hunger strike in Cellular jail-July 1937 for 37 days. Total jail period more than six years.
