Norman Architecture

Norman Architecture is a term in English Architecture for a massive architecture that was introduced into England, particularly in the construction of churches, abbeys, &c., by the Normans even before the Conquest in 1066, which was in vogue in the country till the end of Henry II's (1133 – 1189) reign (1154 - 1189), and which is characterised by the prevalence of the rounded arch.
