Panch Pandav Pahar

Panch Pandav Pahar is a group of hills in Bishunpur block of Gumla district in Jharkhand, India. These hills are comprised of five different hills. It derives its name from a popular belief that the Pandavas or Mahabharat had spent some times here during their agyatvas (going underground). For people, these five mountains represent five Pandav brothers. Their place of worship is also situated here. Utensils and pots of their daily use are present in the form of stones. It worshiped at the place, villagers believe, god will certainly grace them with good rain. Sowing and harvesting are traditionally done at Thakur Don near the place of worship. If the tradition breaks, people believe, some misfortune occur.
