Pariah

Pariah was a name given to a Hindu of the lowest class, and of no caste. Of the class they were of various grades, but all were outcast, and treated as such. However, it has been made illegal to treat any person as pariah, and it is punishable offence in India. This tradition along with untouchability has long been abolished.
