Patrick Blackett

Patrick Blackett (1897 — 1974), full name Patrick Maynard Stuart Blackett, was an English physicist and baron. He was awarded Nobel Prize for Physics in 1948. He is known for modifying the cloud chamber for the study of cosmic rays. He was also a member of the Maud Committee, which dealt with the development of the Atom bomb.
