Pulekesan II

Pulekesan II (609-642) was the greatest ruler of Chalukya dynasty. He defeated Pallava king Mahendravarman I. He established an empire extending from the Narmada to the Kaveri rivers. However, he was defeated and killed by Narasimhavarman in 642, the year when he stormed Vatapi.
