Puttur

Puttur is a town in Chittoor District of Andhra Pradesh in India. It known for its natural bone setting hospital. Doctors fix fractures without surgery, only with the help of medicinal herbs.

The town is also known for its being the first town in the state to get railway tracks. The railway track workers used to call it 'pudhu ooru' which later turned into Puttur.
