Ramesh Chandra Das

Ramesh Chandra Das was a revolutionary freedom fighter of India. He was born on March 31, 1908 at Laukathi, Barisal, now in Bangladesh. He was son of Akshoy Kumar Das. He belonged to Yugantar party. He was Arrested in 1933 in Calvcutta with fire arms and then deported to the Andamans jail, where he participated in second hunger strike. He was Repatriated in January 1938. His total jail period was more than 7 years.
