Rational number

In mathematics, rational number is the number that is expressed in fraction where denominator must not be zero.

Thus the rational numbers are expressible as a ratio of whole numbers (x/y) where y is not equal to zero.

It can be expressed as a decimal, because it can be expressed in fraction or whole numbers.
