Robert Frost
Robert Frost (1874 - 1963), full name Robert Lee Frost, was a US poet. He is known for his realistic depictions of rural life that he used to examine complex social and philosophical themes, and his command of American colloquial speech. He was frequently honored during his lifetime, and is the only poet to receive four Pulitzer Prizes for Poetry. He was also awarded the Congressional Gold Medal in 1960 for his poetic works.
